  • Excerpt: With inexpensive mics seemingly as common as guitar picks, one must ask, “Does the world need another cheap mic?” But after testing the AT2020 , my answer is a resounding, “Yes!” Because the AT2020 is anything but “another cheap mic.” The AT2020 provides pleasant surprises in several areas. First, instead of it having a lightweight body with lots of plastic, its construction is metal, and the mic weighs in at a solid 12.1 oz. Do they skimp on the accessories?

  • Excerpt: This is a solid mic at any price. It is a GREAT mic for this price range. Is it pro-level? Of course not. But you wont find anything close to this quality without spending at least twice as much. This is a solid mic for a home studio and really does sound good. I find it to be very transparent, and pleasing. The fact that it isnt as sensitive as some higher end mics is actually a plus in a home studio environment where you probably arent working in a soundproof room.
  • Pros: Pros, Affordable, Clear Sound, Durable, Easy To Use
  • Cons: Cons, none
