  • Excerpt: I have several audio-technica mics. I jumped on this one because of the great price at B&H. I checked it out when it arrived and I couldn't be happier. Light weight but solid. Great audio.

  • Excerpt: I recommend this product to the ones who want to record high SPL sound sources through condenser microphone. However the quality of the sound seems a bit colored.
  • Pros: Compact, Durable, Easy To Use
  • Cons: A bit colored sound

Great Mic for Bass / Baritone

RedEyeC, music123
25 May 2011
  • Summary: I just got this mic in yesterday and recorded a song with it. Fantastic mic for the lower range vocals! I sing in a tenor range and all my other mics are suited well for higher vocal range. But am recording a few songs in a baritone range, and the mics sounded too thin (in my opinion) - this AT2010 really fattened up my lower range. Highly recommend this mic!

Audio-Technica AT2010 Microphone

heartlandmusic, Ebay
21 June 2010
  • Summary: These are excellent vocal mics for PA and in the studio also. For the money it would be hard to find a microphone that could out perform the Audio Technica AT2010 Mic.

Nice Mic

Mike the Legal Video Guy, B&H Photo
18 March 2010
  • Excerpt: Well made and good sound quality. I didn't give it five stars only because it requires 48 volts of phantom power, which I did not notice until I tried to hook it into a 12 volt string of lavalier mics. Really my bad, I guess, for not noticing.
  • Pros: Clear Sound, Compact, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Versatile

Great mike

blivit, music123
26 February 2010
  • Summary: I purchased one of these and hurriedly ordered another to have a pair after testing. Frequency response and self noise are excellent. I use these on a stand or boom but found the handling noise to be fairly low. Not as low as a SM58 though. The pickup pattern allows use of a floor monitor if the performer needs one though I use these in my studio. I did have in mind using them on the road if needed.

Audio-Technica AT2010 Microphone

georgewstone45, Ebay
5 February 2010
  • Summary: Excellent quality condenser microphone with cardiod polar pattern. Good clarity of sound. No handling noise. Prefer it had a on/off switch since in our band no one runs the mixer once we start to play.
