Summary: Purchased two of these over the last year or so. The first one died after three weeks of weekend use. The second one died just today after a year of weekend use. I'd avoid this unit. They were built to break and the cost is much higher than previously.
Summary: This small amp is perfect for my small back yard. I've installed two tic inground speakers and it drives them just fine. It has been out in the hot sun, rain and ice and still is going strong. I do have the ac adapter covered but the radio is fully exposed to the elements.
Summary: So you should know it works fine. Not great but fine. But it quit after 5 weeks and doesn't work anymore. I called customer service and no one answered. This was in the middle of the workday. So I emailed them to see if they do repairs, warranty returns whatever. No response at all.
Summary: For the price ($80), this radio is not worth it. It demonstrated extremely poor signal discrimination which means whichever the nearest, strongest station in frequency will overwhelm the station you select if its signal is weaker.
Summary: I've been using this amp with Infinity outdoor speakers for over a year and have never once wished I had another. I've learned from the fantastic customer service department that the power cord is vulnerable to shorts if it gets wet, so it needs to be protected from elements.
