Summary: I've been using this amp with Infinity outdoor speakers for over a year and have never once wished I had another. I've learned from the fantastic customer service department that the power cord is vulnerable to shorts if it gets wet, so it needs to be protected from elements. The sound quality of this relatively inexpensive amp is stunning and I simply think it's a great product.
Summary: I bought one of these for use on our patio. It is driving two large Yamaha outdoor speakers. The only reason anyone would buy this is the purported waterproof enclosure. Because there is no ventilation, the power output is low. The instructions were almost unintelligible. Never could figure out how to preset radio stations. After two months, the display crapped out and there is just a green screen. We are able to use it only to play music using an MP3 player.
Summary: This unit works very nicely. I've read complaints about it not being loud enough, I don't have that issue at all. I've hooked it up to my phone and my computer. It's running through a pair of Bose outdoor speakers and they sound great! I don't use the am/fm radio so I can't comment on that. Easy set up and easy to navigate around. Very intuitive.
Summary: Save your money and headache from writing a "traditional" receiver from inside your home to out by the pool. This unit holds up well under the weather (humidity). I have it inside the shed and connected to outdoor speakers and it it so excellent and produces great sound. Highly recommended for the price and quality. Also, if you but a Bluetooth receiver and hook it up to the ipod port, then you can stream your ipod/iphone music right through it. Great product.
Summary: On 2nd unit now, with same problems as the first. The display often just goes blank after a while, but is still lit up and the rest of the unit functions, you just have no idea what the buttons are doing because the display is gone. Unplugging it almost always fixes the problem, but then sometimes it will cycle on/off by itself. The later may be a short in the speaker wire as removing it and replacing fixes it, but need to investigate that further.
Summary: Purchased this to go along with (4) TIC outdoor speakers I was installing around a pool. Unit came and I was immediatly disappointed that it only came with hookups for (2) speakers. Tried looking for an additional connection wire as the reciever has a place for it, but could not locate the special connector. The unit is way under powered and the speakers I purchased had tomax out the volume for decent sound.
Summary: The unit worked about 10 times before it went out. We disconnected the 'receiver' and brought it in each time we used it and the last time we plugged it in the unit would not power up. Hooked up a volt meter to the power supply and it is not putting out any power at all. I could buy a new power supply for it (about $20 online) or I could buy an old REAL receiver at Goodwill for the same amount, so I went that instead. Speakers sound better now anyway.

Summary: Extremely poor quality, attachment cords for speakers and iPod are junk. I wish I had opened it upon receipt and returned it. Rather, I gave it as a XMAS present and when I installed it, regretted the purchase.
