Summary: is there really no such thing as wireless speakers? i had a hard time finding a system that had truly wireless speakers so i had to settle for this thing which is wireless from the main receiver but still requires you to hook up the surround speakers to this unit by wires. it's OK because i don't have to run cable through my house or ghetto style around the room but i sure would've liked to not have to worry about any wires whatsoever.
Summary: This back-of-the-room delivery system works great, but note that the back speakers are still "wired" to the unit. The only wires that get eliminated are the two lengths that previously ran from the back speakers, under the carpet, to the master device. The system was easy to set up and configure; the back speakers are on adjustable-height rods.
Summary: When I moved to a new house, I no longer had an option to run wire to the back of the room. Not only was the house not wired for audio, there was no way to run a length to the back of the room without setting up a hazard across multiple walkways. This little unit does the trick. While I'll agree with other reviews that the included speaker cables are not on par with my Monster cables, they are more than adequate for surround channel sound.
Summary: Great Product! Highly recommend it! Easy to set up and is worth every penny. If you are tired of wires running from one end of a room to another I recommend this product, but make sure you have a compatible Sony theater system.
Summary: I purchased my Sony Bravia home theater system with the understanding that it was "wireless". I wasn't able to hook it up until several months later due to repairs being made to my home after flooding. That is when I found out that the system was actually not wireless. I kept trying to find the audio delivery system to make the rear speakers wireless, but it seemed that the product had been discontinued or out of production.
Summary: So far I can't get it to work. The front and center speakers and sub woofer are fine, but the 2 rear speakers deliver only a whisper. Have tried the suggestions in the manual to no avail. Maybe I'm missing something. So one more friend has promised to take a look and if that fails I'm returning it. I'd give it no stars if that were an option.
My 5.1 Sony HTIB is now 7.1 thanks to this product!

Summary: I have a Sony BDV-E570 Home-Theater-In-A-Box. I got it free with the purchase of a 3D HDTV. Out of the box, it is a 5.1 sound system. With this wireless delivery system, it is now full 7.1. This wireless system includes the small wireless receiver and audio amplifier. It is about the size of a large hardback book. The small wireless receiver plugs into the back of the amplifier.
Summary: I've not listened to too many home theater systems mso I don't know if this is normal or not, but the rear speakers seem to be a little quiet. I've only done the auto-calibration with my sony receiver, so I probably can increase their volume somehow. Other than that, it does work. There are a few comments I would mention that may help others.
