POOR

WARREN LEE, Amazon
20 February 2014
  • Summary: THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD SHOPPING ON LINE. THE FIRST THING IS I RECEIVED MY ORDER OF THE SHERWOOD RX-4100 STEREO RECEIVER AND ONCE RECEIVING IT, I PLUGGED IT IN THE SOCKET AND IT DOES NOT POWER ON. I LET THEM KNOW ABOUT IT AND I SENT IT BACK.

Great Power, almost zero distortion

Virginia C. Dickson "Hale Football Player", Amazon
12 April 2005
  • Summary: I have owned this receiver for over a year since i burned my old JVC out. I have two brand new Cerwin Vega V-series speakers with 12" woofers that i use daily, i can power both of these speakers to maximum power before the speaker "maxes out" with this Reciever giving off very little heat.

5 Audio Inputs...But not for your Phonograph

Douglas M. Bowman, Amazon
22 January 2004
  • Summary: This Amplifier is worth the $100. Although the specs claim to have 5 Audio Inputs...Including a TV/AUX, You will need to Purchase a Pre-Amplifier if you plan to use a TurnTable. The Amp I was replacing was OLD...Before Remotes...and had a Max Output of 50 Watts Per Channel..

modern-day stereo mediocrity

"mschweitz58", Amazon
10 July 2003
  • Summary: Sound quality okay; generally clean good for background music and ambient audio when hooked up to video system. Power good, but lack of decent tone controls limits musical enjoyment, however.
