  • Summary: It makes a small signal big, for little cash. It is well made, and factory support seems excellent.
  • Pros: Good sound, good price, simple setup
  • Cons: It has a traditional power supply and so it weighs 45#

  • Summary: Running this with a 2x10 Avatar cab and a BBE BMAX pre amp. It has been working perfect ever since I bought it a few weeks back. Plenty loud for what I need it to do. I don\'t see any sold out arenas or stadiums in the near future...but its plenty loud for any small, medium sized gigs. I highly recomend it.
  • Pros: Top notch quality, Gets the job done
  • Cons: I guess the weight is the only con... but im a big boy.. I can handle it

  • Summary: I cant get over the fact that I solved all of my power problems with a meer $400. From this point on, I will probably never buy another head. I was stuck with an Ampeg B2R and an Ampeg BXT410 cab @ 4ohms. This was very frusterating... because the B2R couldnt operate at 2ohms, so I could use my other BXT115 cab. Also, I was getting completely drowned out. After researching talkbass, I realized that a power amp was the way to go.
  • Pros: GREAT price. Likely all the power I will ever need.
  • Cons: It has 20lbs on the PLX series... but the pricetag more than makes up for it
