Summary: Three new units, three rejections. Every time, it was the same issue; one channel of the stereo does not function. In all three attempts, I performed a number of tests using different input: SDHC, USB, and an MP3 player patched thru the Aux input. I also used 2 sets of speakers; one set of 8 ohm and one set of 4 ohm. The speakers were switched back and forth to make sure it wasn't the speaker or the wires...
This is a great unit but has missing stardard features

Summary: Overall, this is a great unit, but I would like to have these missing features (Pyle, please): 1) When playing an MP3 file from SD or USB and the unit is powered off, save the environment so when the unit is powered back on, it picks up where it left off. Right now, it always restarts from the first song of the first album, and ID3 display and repeat setting are all set back to factory defaults.
Summary: I received a Pyle PVA3U as a gift. The remote does not work. I called the company and they told me I must send them the receipt to get a replacement. I don't have a receipt so I can't get a working remote. I registered the product on their site but no receipt; no help. They may have a warranty program but they offer no service.
Summary: I really liked this little amp and used mainly for SD card playback of music. I bought two of them and each had to be returned due to defects with the remote control circuitry. The first remote did not work, and the second remote failed after 10 hours of play time. Since there are some functions which can only be accessed through the remote, this is a show stopper. Music mp3 playback was very high quality but sound levels are low.
Summary: After trying many different media players for use in our retail stores, this is the one we chose. It plays almost instantly from a 16gb Kingston DataTraveler USB Stick, sounds great and has just the right amount of power for a 10k square foot store.
Summary: Good amp. Bought it to power pyle's in wall ipod dock. After installing system, notice the sound quality was so much better connecting ipod directly to amp. I am using amp with ipod dock in an enclosed porch. Also you can connect your smartphone. Running yamaha 6 inch in-ceiling outdoor speakers with max output of 100 watts. Some distortion with increased volume. Pyle makes amp with higher output wattage. May be worth for some with higher wattage speakers.
Summary: The unit works very well as a MP3 player. Not a lot of power, but matched with some good JBL speakers and it is working great in my shop. Good quality sound and decent bass. Does get pretty hot when running near full power, but sound stays clean all the way up to near max setting. Time will tell how it holds up to the heating. I agree with the others, the remote needs a volume control. That, only 60W, and high running temp is the reason I have it 4 stars.
