Summary: 1 speed fan. loud Works, quality ok, sounds decent to me, internal crossover works fine. gettin an active x-over later, but for now, it gets the job done. Update 6/25/2013 - on/off switch no longer works, stays always on (10 day normal use)
Summary: I'm not sure what to call myself. I like loud, pumping bass. That's about it. I'm also on a strict budget. I'm a DJ who's had lots of experience with crest, crown, and peavey amplifiers. Ideally I would have bought one of those, but alas, I'm on a budget.
Summary: I'm a small-time Dj. I bought this to replace my 500w amp after I up-sized my speakers. The technical specs are good so I figured what the heck? It showed up in about 4 days along with the speakon-speakon cables I needed for it.
Summary: This amp is very comparable watt per dollar to most amps out there. IT lacks all the fancy interfaces that the newer model amp has but it can give really good sound at medium volumes but once the clipping starts it's over.
Summary: When I ordered this amplifier I did not expect it to be in use a whole lot. For this reason I could not justify spending my dollar on a QSC or Crown with equal power (let's pretend for a moment that the rated power of a given amp is an objective measurement).
Summary: If you are expecting to buy something of the quality of a crest, crown, or bgw. This amp is not really for you. This amp compared with other knock offs is quite nice. Yes the back panel looks a little cheap. This is not a touring amp. It will make a nice stationary amp.
Summary: The pyle PTA3000 is a good amp.for D-J services. It has power & can be used for sub-woofers driver, plus built in crossover used for an second amp for front stage speakers. The plye PTA3000 is the brain for a bi-amped or tri-amped system.
Summary: this product looks nice but there are no papers included to instruct how to connect it.I think it is a returned item due to a reason. It is not working right.I will never buy pyle product again.sorry
