Summary: Using it in a small meeting room and it is perfect for my application. I have read all the reviews and not everyone will be happy (EVER) but it works for me. If I expected more I would have got more than an 80 watt amp.
Excerpt: Used in museum PA system. First amp was faulty right out of box (hum; no audio passthrough). Returned for replacement. Replacement amp was installed and it operated for 15 minutes before failing (Sudden, short, loud hum blast output, followed by silence. All rear panel inputs inop, but front panel jacks worked).
Summary: I PURCHASED A PT 110 PA AMP AND WAS NOT HAPPY WITH IT. THE POWER RATINGS ARE EXAGGERATED, THE CLARITY IS POOR, AND WORST OF ALL THE AMP GOES OFF INTO SAFETY MODE FOR UNKNOWN REASONS?? THE LINE WAS GOOD, THE SPEAKER WAS GOOD. THERE IS NOTHING ELSE TO GO WRONG. AS A SUB NOT I TRIED 3 DIFFERENT MODEL PYLE AMPS AND ALL DID THE SAME THING??? I DONT RECOMMEND THIS AMP OR PRAND AT ALL. THEY ALSO OPERATE UNDER PYRAMID BRAND TOO.
Summary: I run 5 megaphone PA speakers at a large outdoor facility, and I gotta say I barely use 50% power, plenty of options for aux inputs. I have my laptop hooked into it, as well as streaming internet radio from my phone. It's well worth it!
Summary: vey bad - worked for one day - then next day does not power on - mistake to buy it - I always buy amplifiers and install them, wanted to buy pyle since the price was reasonable 0 but realized I made a terrible mistake by buying this product. spend a little more and buy something that will work. tried to return it was too late since I opened the box late - I should have checked it soon it arrived.
Summary: It is a great deal for such low price. The quality of the amplifier is just OK. I works but the sound quality is not ideal. If you're in a tight budget at this moment, it is a good choice to get you started. It amplifies voice well.
Summary: I'm an audio enthusiast who loves experimenting with various audio equipment. I bought 2 of the PT110 PA Amplifier. After some testing, I've found that it doesnt't meet my expectations in power output, rather than the price. First the unit is rated at 80Watts, so I was expecting a genuine 30 to 40Watts (normal) output, but it was more like 15Watts (normal). Hense the output rating of 80Watts must be in peak music power.
