Summary: All I needed was something so that I could finally use my Pro-Ject Essentials turntable and this little box did the trick. Great for an amateur like me on a tight budget and I haven't noticed any noise.
Summary: Well, it certainly takes the phono signal and ups it to a usable line-level, however it has a noticeable buzz/hum. (Yes, my ground from my turntable is connected to the ground terminal on the preamp) The construction is good, quite solid and the guts inside look decently made, no bad solder joints,...
Summary: Considering the price point this pre-amp is not bad. Still, I had to wrap it in thinfoil to stop the annoying buzzing sound it created. Not the best looking setup but I guess you get what you pay for!
Summary: only had to pick up one more cable and we were in business and could finally listen to records on our turntable. Shipped quickly and was exactly as promised which is exactly what we wanted/needed.
Summary: Small item, it was all I needed to be able to listen to my old records. Neither my receiver or turntable have a ground, but I just had to use a cable (with wire at both ends) and attach the wire on the ground of the Pyle-Pro and a screw of my receiver and I was good to go!
Summary: If you own an "old fashioned" phono turntable (to play your old vinyl discs) and own a recent, modern home theater system or stereo power amp,it's a MUST!New modern power amps don't come with built-in phono preamps anymore! I dare anybody to try to find this product in ANY retail store!..
Works alright, slight buzz but alright bang for your buck.

Summary: The pre amp works alright. I think the line level output could be slightly higher. That said I bought the product on sale and it was shipped to my door for less then $20. One thing I want to tinker with is the ground to try and get rid of the slight buzz.
