Summary: For those with turntables that have a ground wire, this thing has a critical flaw. There is no place to connect the ground wire to the pre-amp. Without connecting the ground, you will get a fairly loud 60 Hz buzz. Since there is no ground screw you will have to open the thing up and SOLDER the ground wire TO an internal metal part. I tried to connect the turntable ground wire to the screws holding the Pyle's cover on and it did not work.

Summary: The pyle amp was in good condition, but it wasn't the one that was advertised. The amp shown above and the one advertised was a pyle ppa200 2000 watt, and that's what I thought I was buying but when the package arrived, it was a pyle pta 1400 watt amp. Not the 2000 watt one on sale.
You can hear Bob Dylan blow the D chord with this pre -amp

Summary: Best price out there on E-Bay This improved a 1974 Pioneer turntable and it's integration into a 1994 SONY system. I like the ease it plugs in and it is small enough to stay out of sight Best of all it makes the Turntable sound great 100% improvement in sound and volume
Summary: This is a pretty decent amp, my only problems with it are that the fan to cool it down is rather loud. Also its not 2 channels of 1000 watts like a conventional car amp but instead you need to bridge it which im unaware of how its done. So you only get like 800watts a side. But it certainly pushed 800 watts so wasn't so bad.
First Class and economic answer to my hearing loss.

Summary: Very nice preamp. I use it between my TV output and Equalizer input which has been set up to mirror my hearing loss. Then to a wireless headphone. Now I get full range audio from my TV rather than the tinny sound from my very expensive hearing aids. Couldn't do this without the PYLE PP-999 preamp.
