Summary: The first one I bought, I had to return because it did not work. The features and user friendly set is awesome. Sound quality a little off. I have a hum in the speakers at low volume which goes away when turned up to normal listening level. Would pay more for better quality.
Summary: This unit isn't too bad for the money it actually does sound pretty good. Also, I'm glad I noticed this before I paid for my woofer, when buying a woofer for the receiver make sure it is a powered sub and not just a regular plug-in, you will be disappointed if you don't. However, I have owned a lot of different types of electronic equipment and this thing acts funny. I'd suggest spending another 150 and buying one that won't utilize the one year warranty.
Summary: I was looking for something a bit "old school" similar to my 1989 Technics Stereo Receiver with a lighted equalizer and DVD player and this one seemed to fit the bill. I've had it for about 6 months and its been great with my LCD TV. It has sound with my Bose speakers. Pros: Sound, Look, features, FM Radio, Equalizer Cons: Bright lights make it hard to see button labeling, remote needs lights.
Summary: I've read many of these reviews but I think the point that this amp is a cost effective escapes some. It has a ton of features built in, including a dvd. I used this for a multimedia setup for a school and it has worked flawlessly. Sound is good and everything just works. And they have a ton of extra features if they should ever need them.
Summary: Not a bad amp for the price, was easy to install into my home sound system, you will need bannana clips for the speaker hook-ups wich is no big deal. Mp3-I phone and flash player connections were convienent again easy to utilize. CD/DVD player worked well, i would buy this reciever again.
Summary: Normally don't write reviews but this deserves a very positive one. The package was double boxed which is great because it is heavy and electronics are somewhat delicate and do not do well when dropped during shipping. The hook up was easy and it looks great. Gives you the option of adding connectors for a rack system or leave them off and place in a cabinet. The most important thing is the sound.
