Summary: Received unit in good condition with no damage. Shipment was very fast. Works very well in my 11-Channel HT setup as an external amp for my back presence speakers. Runs cool and sounds great. Would recommend this to anyone for the same usage.
Summary: This arrived in perfect condition. I bought it to add two more channels (for a total of 11) to my new new Onkyo TX-NR929 receiver. It perfectly matches the aesthetics of the 929. At first I was concerned that it was only 75w per channel, where the 929 is 135w. That concern is unfounded and there is plenty of amplification to drive the wide speaker channels. I like the sleek industrial look that it has - it has a quality build.
Summary: Amplifier arrived damaged due to poor packing. The original carton did not contain the original Styrofoam packing so some brown paper packing material was loosely wrapped around the unit. The unit was then under packed with the same brown paper inside a larger box for shipping. I knew I was in trouble when I first picked the box up off the porch. Everything in the box was shifting around.
Summary: I'm running a pair of Martin Logan Motion 4 speakers for the front presence channel of 11.2 system. I also have it set up that I can play the Motion 4 on there own for back round music off my Sonos system. The Onkyo M-5010 has plenty of clean power either way. I'm going to get another M-5010 for the rear presence speakers to complete my system.
Summary: I'm extremely disappointed that there were no wire ( RCA and 12volt trigger). So with that said I called Amazon to ask them to ship my the wires but was told I'd have to Box all back up ship it back and then wait for another one when I bought this specifically for my Super Bowl party to run my outdoor entertainment system. So I went to a LOCAL A/V store and got the wires last night. Not really a big deal...
Summary: I currently have a 7.1 speaker setup running an Onkyo HT-RC360 receiver. When I moved the media room in to the new house I took advantage of adding in my classic rebuilt Cerwin Vega D9 towers to my 7.1 wall mounts surround system. The M-5010 is providing ample power to shake the 18x22 foot room. Clean and clear, no noticeable clipping or heat issues. The D9's pounds like I have not heard them pound in years!
Excellent Quality-Good Sound Reproduction-Great Value

Summary: Excellent product, you won't be disappointed with this purchase. I have had my Onkyo system (receiver, CD player, DVD player, Tape deck) hooked to JBL speakers for nearly eight years, moved three times and never once have I had an issue. When the need for an amplifier arose I naturally looked to Onkyo because of my experience with their products as well as their reputation for build quality. I bought this amplifier to drive two JBL Northridge tower speakers.
Summary: My 35 year old Kenwood KA-9100 is going in for a total restoration ( 30+ years old )...so bought this to use with a Carver 4000t preamp and Magnepans SMG a's....as a short term system...sounds so good I may not want to put the Kenwood back in service...70 wpc vs 90....even with considerable less power i've been able to maintain a great soundstage....does what I need it to do...would be nice to be able to bi-amp and use one for each channel...
