Summary: Received quickly from Amazon as always. Reminds me of the Onkyo A10 I had 20 years ago. Still kick myself for falling for the receiver craze of the 70s. This amp will not disappoint. I saw the review about the Phono input but I have nothing but great things to say about it. Everything was what I expected. As I said Blows your mind using with vinyl.
Excerpt: I want to say that the service with B&H was terrific. I ordered the unit online and had it in less than a weeks time. I found that their prices were among the best I could find online. The service was very smooth and would definitely order from B&H again in the future. I purchased the Onkyo A-9050 to replace a 25 year old JVC receiver amplifier that had served me well but was on it's way out.
Pros: Accurate Controls, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality
Summary: Was looking for an amp with multiple digital inputs, a good DAC, A/B output, reasonable power and price. The selection of stereo equipment in the middle range continues to dwindle and there were only a few options. With digital input (coax from CD/toslink from Airport Express) this sounds really good with Martin Logan SL3 which use both the A and B output. While rated at only 75 W/channel this thing can play much louder than I have any interest in.
Great integrated amplifier, and huge value! Get a good pair of speakers and you're 'all set'!

Summary: I sure do miss the glory days of hi-fi, when high quality stereo receivers, preamplifiers, amplifiers, and true speaker systems ruled the day! Now everything is miniaturized and portable, with sound quality often suffering bigtime. Sure MP3 files, iPODs, iPADs, and PC's (with their small speakers) are convenient ways to get (download) and carry music around with you, but you're missing out on palpable bass, a natural soundstage, and musical detail when you listen to most...
Summary: Paired this up with Onkyo C-7030 CD player and the sound is just amazing. I never thought 2 channel stereo could sound this good. I like the fact that it has digital inputs, I can stream my digital music using airplay on my Apple TV.
Excerpt: I'm no audiophile, so my rating is based on my perception of quality relative to the price. I needed DACs and amps to add zones to my sound system. I'm using Apple TVs, which output only digital audio. I was looking at the Cambridge DacMagic, but for only $ more, I got an equivalent quality DAC and the amp. It sounds great and has plenty of power. For the money, it was a no brainer purchase.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality
Summary: I had to return my borrowed tx 8050 to friend so I figured I would try an integrated amp. I also orderd the marantz pm 6004 for comparison. I'm playing them through my Klipsch KLF 20 speakers which have dual 10" woofers. I had to run a sub with the 8050 because it didn't have the bass punch I was looking for with the large woofers. I figure many of you shopping for the Onkyo may also be considering the Marantz in this price range.
Summary: received quickly, packed well nice product works as expected. Researched other products with comparable specs at this price point and return policy it was a excellent choice. This is my second onkyo product and am extremely satisfied.
Summary: I bought this amp through Amazon for around $350. It replaced a NAD integrated amp. I am old-school when it comes to audio, as I grew up buying my first gear in the 70's. This was the golden age (to hear some tell it) of audio, when an amp had a decent transformer, quality discrete components and a reasonable amount of hand assembly and inspection. Well those days are long gone and not likely to come back.
