Summary: I connected this little amp to my ADS L310 speakers which are 4 ohm speakers and tough to drive to a good level. I was very pleased and frankly surprised that such a small amp can drive these speakers. This amp is superb at driving an efficient speaker with a senstivity rating above 87db.
Summary: I've had this amp for about three months now. Sound quality is very good, it runs cool (I mean, never warmer than my dog), and is very small. It's not the most powerful amp, though, and gets harsh when pushed too hard. It's certainly the best amplifier of its type in the sub-$300 range, IMO.
Excellent product. Well packaged and sounds great.

Summary: My on-board PC audio was very poor. It suffered from noise crossover from all the other kit in the PC and the drivers were crap. The sound was muddy and distorted. The problem with internal PC audio is they often have cheap digital to analogue converters (DACs).
Summary: I bought this amplifier to work with a squeezebox in my kitchen and it does a brilliant job. Using it in the kitchen with a pair of small loudspeakers has it limitations, but it has a sufficient amount of power and the sound is crispy and clear.
Summary: The attached reviews are a bit drooling-fan-boy. It's a low-power amp, and simple as anything to use. Nice basic piece of machinery. Fit and finish are rudimentary, but better than you'd get on, say, a Ford or GM vehicle. The problem is that someone decided to use RC45 cable for speaker cable.
Summary: I've been using my NuForce Icon for over a month now and I am very impressed. The sound is fantastic. The USB input worked perfect for me when connected to a Windows XP Home SP3 computer or to a PC running Ubuntu.
Summary: Ljud/pris förtjänar en nia. Den målar upp en ljudbild som ingen annan i prisklassen bortsett från Trends audio TA 10.1 och funktionerna/kvaliteten är vida bättre än Trendsen, vilken känns som den mest naturliga konkurrenten. Men, effekten..
