Summary: After our disastrous Philips steam generator saga, we switched to the Tefal. On unpacking, it was noticeably less well finished than the Philips in spite of costing more. Edges were rough and the finish looks and feels cheap. The biggest problem I had with the Tefal was the controls - they are awful. They seem designed so that you can't read what they are. Once used to them it's OK - but come on Tefal don't you have a human - machine designer?
Summary: this is the worst iron i have ever purchased it leaks all the time burns my clothes. pressure is always changing in the steam and burns myself im actually scared to use it at times it trips my electic sent mine back.
Summary: Overall great steam generator, however I have real problem with the cord . I previously had a tefal steam generator which when u pressed a button it automatically put away the cord, this one I have to spend a few minutes packing it into a small space available. Not very happy about this at all .
Summary: I'm so glad I decided to go for a more expensive steam generator this time around. The last two, which were a lot cheaper, were nowhere near as good, and one had to be dumped in less than 6 months. It's true what they say, "you get what you pay for", and this little marvel is worth it's weight in gold!
