Summary: Iron used to spit and drip UNTIL I started using distilled water. Now, I have no trouble with this iron. Also use iron along with Mary Ellen's Best and works great together. Summary: These are the kinds of things that seem to last a life time. But, we had a need for a new steam iron and this Singer did not disappoint. Glad to get it and at a fair price. Delivery was prompt and it arrived in great shape.
Summary: I've tried for years to find an iron that doesn't leak and irons well with little effort. I bet I've gone through a dozen different brands. Well, this is the best I've found. I'm not saying there isn't a better one around, but it fits the bill for me. Hope it lasts for many years.
