Summary: I have have owned a Rowenta steam for approximately 10 years and when I turned it on it would heat but not stay heated and I don't know where to get it repaired. I feel the connection inside is loose because when I jiggle it it goes on but then it goes off when I start to iron. I find this one is a lot heavier. The steam feature is different, because I do a lot of sewing my clothes I need to be able to block my jackets etc. and I feel this iron will do a great job.
Summary: This is the ONLY single ONE iron you need. Out of all the 20's I tested, this was the only single one that hasn't leaked yet, even after a month regular usage. Rowenta is not available locally so I am glad Amazon CAN had this.
Summary: This Rowenta Steamium Iron far exceeded my expectation in what a steam iron is supposed to do! Every feature it offers is just what I expected and I am thrilled! And the BEST part of this is that it is made in Germany! How finnicky (yes - I made up that word!) can one get?
Summary: I absolutely loved my Steamium for the first year of use. It got as hot as required and I was able to finished my ironing in much less time. I love the precision tip, and it would never leak water at lower temps. After about a year (warranty period now over) the digital readout won't go higher than "silk" and the element wouldn't get as hot. So I just constantly have to press the steam button.
Summary: I have only had my Rowenta iron for a short time but am finding it does what is promised. The steam is strong. I am a sewer so it is very nice for those projects that require a lot of steam. No drips so far either!
Summary: Love it, love the steam pressure, no heavier than what I was using before, but everything you do you have use your thumb, after pressing a lot of fabric, my thumb aches for quite some time. Wish you didn't have to hold the buttons down all the time!
Summary: Really unhappy with this iron. It's heavy, awkward, steam doesn't seem to work properly......really not worth the money. After using it this morning I vowed to investigate return possibilities with amazon.ca
Summary: Best steam iron ever. Nice and large and heavy. The steam is very powerful, so keep your fingers away. The weight of the iron makes for crisp creases on your pants, and the large size makes quick work of ironing shirts. Make sure you empty the water reservoir after each use to prevent scale buildup.
