Summary: I use to think all irons were the same until now. This iron stands out from the rest with optimal steam and great heat. I rarely use starch on my clothes now because this iron presses so well. The safety features are also a major plus with auto shutoff in whatever position it's in. Costly but durable. I see this iron sticking around for a good while.
Summary: Can't say enough about this iron... Except, you know how, when you're in a hurry and you're getting your clothes ready after you've showered and you're not fully clothed yet...well, I'm pretty tall. This iron is a definite steam engine. DO NOT push that force steam button when you are standing close to the ironing board unless you're fully clothed ;) Surprise! LOL.
Summary: I've owned a Rowenta Perfect iron for 10 years plus and absolutely loved it. It was a workhorse and was very reliable. It recently became temperamental - due to a loose connection where the cord meets the iron - so I decided to replace it with another Rowenta and after reading the reviews on Amazon decided on this model. I've owned it for about 7 weeks and thought it was OK -- it irons well, but the force of the steam is something you have to be careful about.
Summary: Product was delivered on time and in good shape. Packaging protected product during shipping. Product works very well . It replaced my old perfect Rowenta and this iron is a much improved iron.
Summary: I have had several Rowenta irons over the years, but this is by far the best! It generates an amazing amount of steam and cuts my down on my ironing time substantially. It may be a bit pricier than other Rowentas, but it is well worth it if you iron on a regular basis.
