Summary: This is the second Rowenta iron I have purchased. Both have broken. The first one worked great, best iron I have ever owned but after 18 months it wouldn't stay hot. It just seemed to turn off at random or cool down in the middle of use. I decided to replace it with this model.
Summary: This iron is a piece of garbage. I loved my last Rowenta so I purchased this one to replace it - it is awful. It spurts out the sides of the plate and even when it was new out of the box, it spurted dirty, staining water/steam on whatever I was ironing (for example, a quilt).
Summary: If you don't like the price then get off this page, because this iron is for bosses who roll hard as nails. Yeah, it's expensive and so are your clothes, so stop using some Sunbeam trash from Walmart and order this bad boy right now. It will press out creases you didn't think could come out.
Summary: I'll admit, I have never in my life purchased such an expensive iron. But I was so sick and tired of every iron I owned breaking or leaking (I must have had bad luck). I decided to step up my game and get this unit because I have heard great things about the Rowenta brand. Couldn't be happier!!
Summary: I bought this iron several months ago. It is a bit on the heavy side, but I like that. I use it almost exclusively for quilting which means that it gets heavy use. It produces quite a bit of steam, which I like, but, with the amount of steam I need, I have to fill the tank frequently.
