Buyer beware! This is NOT a quality German iron. They are made in CHINA! I have had nothing but problems with it!

Summary: I have had nothing but problems with this iron/s. I originally decided on this make and model because of Rowenta's reputation for German quality. Geesh, what a mistake! You are NOT getting a German made product! I checked the underside of mine only to find out that it was MADE IN CHINA!
Summary: A friend recommended this iron. I love to sew, and iron my pillowcases (don't judge!), table linens and occasionally my husband's dress shirts. I have never ironed with anything this amazing. Constant steam (as needed), and what seems like an unlimited tank.
Summary: Owned a Rowenta Expert for over 10 years and LOVED it. So when it came time for a replacement I thought this was it. Not so. I still like having a separate tank but with this model you must let the iron cool down before refilling (a pain in the middle of a sewing project).
I've had good luck with this, but some reports of leakage

Summary: I guess it's the luck of the draw, but I've had my Rowenta Steam Station for almost two years and it's the iron I have set up for contant use. It's never leaked for me, but there are reports that some units do leak.
Summary: I bought this for my wife because she is never happy with the irons she has gotten in the past for one reason or another. The last Rowenta she bought was top of the line but then after 6 months of so it started leaking water all over. I thought I would try something totally different.
Summary: It looks great, what could go wrong? Well, I only used it for household ironing, once a week. So by the time it started to malfunction, the return period was about a month or two passed. First, it stopped taking water.
Summary: An iron and steamer in one and so easy to use. I knew this iron was fantastic from my mom but my husband was a little intimidated of it. When I finally let him try it out, he loved it! Fantastic buy!
