Good little iron, a little annoying to charge/heat
1 January 2014
Summary: Pros: Cordless Excellent steam control with no dripping Had this for a year with no issues yet Con: Doesn't hold the heat very long! I can get about 4 passes with this baby before I have to return it to the dock for 5 seconds or so. This isn't a big deal for shirts but it is a HUGE pain for ironing large pieces of fabric. Consider this before buying.
Summary: I like the idea of having no cord to sorry about however this iron doesn't get hot enough to press out the wrinkles on cotton fabric so my husbands shirts still look wrinkled after using it. It didn't steam properly either, didn't steam at all actually. It is also a pain to return the iron to the charging base taking more time to iron. I do like the weight of this iron though. If you like your iron HOT then don't choose this iron.
Summary: Hey, my wife is a quilter and I racked up big points for getting her this for Mother's Day. She absolutely loves it. She had no idea it was coming (yes, I do listen to her when she talks about these kind of things) so that made it even better. She's been using it now for a month and has no complaints whatsoever. At first, my wife had some concern in regards to the iron needing to be on the stand when it wasn't being used.
Summary: This iron, when used as directed, is perfect! Glides across fabrics, heats very fast, stays hot when placed on charger between pressings. Hope it lasts, the quality seems very good. I love the unique styling as well.
Summary: I love my new Panasonic Iron. I have been using a Rowenta for several years. With the new Panasonic cordless iron I do not have to worry about the cord tangling up, or having to make sure that I have enough cord to be able to reach what I am working on. This iron was being used in a quilt shop that I visited and I knew right away that I had to have one. I especially love the fact that I can remove and fill the water tank with ease. Love it!!!!!!
Summary: I was all set to get a Rowenta when I saw this and the reviews convinced me to change my mind. I loved the cordless feature (until I used it). I had a twenty dollar Panasonic corded iron that I got 10 years ago which got hot almost instantly. This new version has low/med/high settings but takes over 10 min to heat up to high. When you are using it, the double sided cordless features are great.
Summary: This iron is just what I have been looking for. Lightweight, great shape and cordless. I learned to iron with the old iron irons that you heated on the stove so the shape and no cord was a natural for me. The Iron does not seem to get as hot as some other irons I have owned but it does get the job done. Plenty of steam on med. and high settings.
Summary: I am a quilted and this iron is perfect for that. It is however not good for pressing linen, unless, you put the steam up high and use starch. It is a nice size for small things but not big enough for a compulsive ironer like myself.
