Summary: Best iron I've ever owned. Seriously, I've had everything from Black and Decker to Rowenta and this blows them out of the water on all fronts. Retractable cord is great, heats up before I can even take a drink of coffee in the morning, and provides the perfect amount of steam. Not as heavy as the Rowenta's so if you really prefer a heavy beast look elsewhere, but for everyone else that just needs to iron a shirt, look no further!
Summary: This is an excellent Iron. Its working really good & I like the product. Stylish design & value for the money. My only worry is the size of soleplate which is little smaller however that is Ok for me.
Summary: I put this to a 90 day test, using it frequently, 3-4 times a week. Ironing fabrics for sewing projects, my pants for work, silk, cotton, it has been great! The settings for each fiber are accurate, and the steam function works without leaks. My cord retractor is still snappy and works perfect. This iron is all that I could have asked for, and I consider the price great for what you are getting.
Summary: I hate ironing, but my dryer seems to have some secret "super wrinkle" setting that I cannot turn off. I put up with my old iron for over 8 years, but decided to look for a new one after it shorted out and caught on fire (good reason, right?). I guess ironing technology has come quite a long way. This new iron works really well: usually one swoop across my shirt is all it takes to get most of the wrinkles out.
Summary: Started spitting water after five or six weeks. Panasonic wanted me to , at my expense, mail the iron off to be fixed and then pay for the repair. Not worth the money I paid for it and certainly was not going to spend more on it. Would never recommend it to anyone.
Summary: This is a very sturdy iron. I expected it to be light based on other reviews but I found it to be quite heavy and sturdy. Maybe I just had low expectations. I would highly recommend it. I love that the cord stores up inside it. That's a great feature. And it gets the job done well.
Summary: I needed a small iron to fit in a compact space. This iron fits perfectly. It doesn't "spit" and irons really well. I would have given it five stars if not for the fact that the cord sometimes doesn't rewind completely and you have to work with it a little bit. But overall it's a very nice iron and I would buy another one like it if my current one quit working.
Summary: The iron works great. I knocked one star off because the iron plate had a scratch on it when we unboxed it. It clearly looked brand new, so I'm guessing it was a factory issue. Nevertheless, it wasn't a bad enough scratch for a return or complaint... especially because it was needed immediately for a sewing project and I couldn't wait for a return/replacement.
