Summary: The only problem I have with the iron is the button to select the heating. It between the steam selection and the handle. If you move your hand to far you will change the temperature of the iron and won't even notice it until it doesn't steam anymore. A bad place to put the button.
Summary: There are only two retired people in this household. We do very little ironing. We purchased this iron through Amazon less than one year ago. Yesterday, the iron completely shut down. What a piece of junk!!
Summary: I had one of these several years ago and I loved that it had a nice weight and good steam. It got me through three years of a fashion design master's program and I assumed that since I used it nearly every day and pressed it really hard, it made sense that the handle cracked.
Summary: I bought a Shark several years ago, before the brand was well-known in the United States, and it gave us good, long service. When it was time to retire it, I didn't consider any other brand. The Shark heats up quickly and the steam is consistent.
Summary: When the iron was working, it was a great iron. This is my second Shark iron, but they all have the same problem. It worked for a short period of time, then suddenly it no longer worked. No power, nothing. Now it's just a paperweight.
Summary: I had to replace this iron in the first year. Europro sent me a refurb replacement with me paying shipping charges. Now my replacement is broken too. Europro will not replace the new product as it is out of warranty. This iron works well but the quality is very poor.
