Excerpt: The Field of View was smaller than expected and the eye relief wasn't great. No problems with the clarity. I ended up sending it back and buying the Vortex 15x50 HD binoculars. Has enough reach for my needs, bigger field of view, and got the tripod mount.
Excerpt: This scope is a replacement for an older device. The older one never made it out of the house, as it was too heavy, and the optics weren't great. Enter my lovely new Nikon, which has great optics, and is so very lightweight it is going everywhere with me.
Excerpt: My brother brought this scope to Costa Rica last year, and I was so impressed I had to get my own. I bought this scope primarily to use as a travel scope when space is tight, and as a scope light enough to take on long hikes. This scope can easily be carried onto an airplane in a carry-on bag.
Pros: Bright Eyepiece, Lightweight, Sealed Against Humidity, Sensitivity Controls
Excerpt: Christmas present so still new. It came much faster than expected and in great condition. I took it out to view waterfowl with other birders Mine was the smallest and lightest scope in the group so great for field work. I used it handheld and passed it around. Wow was the unanimous reaction.
Excerpt: When I started shopping around for a new scope, I was planning on spending the Big Bucks on a Kowa, Swarovski, Leica or Zeiss. Something with an 80 + mm objective and costing three, maybe four grand.
Pros: Bright field of view, Compact And Light, Easy to focus
Excerpt: We are using this for birding. It is very light weight making it easily portable for hikes when we don't want to drag around a big heavy scope. It is a nice cross between binos and a full sized scope, able to be hand-held but more powerful than binos.
