Outstanding

Tim, B&H Photo
11 January 2015
  • Excerpt: The rubber armoring on this spotting scope is seamless, durable, aesthetically pleasing and effective. It appears to be the same as used in the Leica rubber armored binoculars which have been rated the best armoring of all binoculars by some reviewers.

  • Excerpt: Very skillfully engineered to provide a perfect fit on the APO-Televid 82 angled spotting scope. Velcro attachment points allow for fine tuning the fit. Leaves the tripod attachment uncovered so that the spotting scope can be attached/removed from the tripod without removing or adjusting the scope...

APO 82mm versus APO 77

Sharon, Eagle Optics
16 October 2012
  • Summary: I know that my APO 77 spotting scope is an older model but it still works great. I had the Eye Ring on the 20x60 eyepiece repaired once but the scope is still fantastic. This weekend I was birding with some friends, one of which had the newer Leica APO 82 mm Angled scope with a 25x50 eyepiece.

User Review

Nothome, Adorama
21 April 2012
  • Excerpt: I use the Leica APO 82mm spotting scope for hunting and taking pictures. It is as good as it gets for either. You can judge an animals tropy potential out to a mile with out difficulty. There is not a better spotting scope available. Clarity and brightness remain the same throughout power range.
