This scope delivers

Olympic Shooter, B&H Photo
23 April 2013
  • Excerpt: This is the third Kowa scope I've owned over the years and it doesn't disappoint. Good quality optics combined with low weight makes this a winner in my mind. The fact I already have eyepieces that fit this scope also helps greatly. I use this scope for international style rifle shooting, mostly to "read" mirage. Sometimes I actually have to see shots in the paper but that is less common these days.
  • Pros: Light weight, Quality Optics
  • Cons: Price

  • Summary: Name brand that I wanted to try! Now I see why they are so popular with competative shooters! Good glass, compact and lightweight! Very clear! The focus works great. I will be buying more Kowa Optics!

TSN-602

Celtmaverick, B&H Photo
1 September 2008
  • Excerpt: Was good but not better than anything else in it's price range or a much older scope I own. To spend that much money it's pointless not to spend another 200 and get the ED glass.
  • Cons: Poorly Illuminated

An excellent Scope 99.9% perfect.

Mike, B&H Photo
9 April 2008
  • Excerpt: This scope is incredible and for the money it can't be beat. With the excellent TSE-Z9B 20x-60x zoom eyepiece, there is crisp clarity and a wide field of view through out the zoom range. The compact size and weight make it ideal for back country use. The only thing that keeps it from being absolutely perfect is a slight chromatic aberration at 60x cause with a slight blue halo around bright high contrast objects (you can only see it if you actually look for it).
  • Pros: Bright Eyepiece, Sensitivity Controls, Strong Magnification
  • Cons: none
