good for 100meters, step up to a larger objective if you need more distance
9 March 2014
Summary: this is an excellent scope for use at 100 meters, you can see hits on a shoot n see target at 200. But 22 cal hits on a paper target at 200 is probably impossible and you will need to move up to a scope with at least an 80mm objective.
Excerpt: This is a great product. I have purchased abd returned four other scopes in the past 6 months. They were either very unstable (lenses) or much too large for everyday use. I needed something that could be carried easily and set up as quickly as possible. This scope fits the bill to a 'T'.
Excerpt: Scope used on front of dslr camera. The scope comes with t-ring out. All that is needed is the camera t-ring adaptor. Focus is very smooth. It is very compact and easy to carry. Could be brighter, but I could have bought a larger more expensive scope.
Summary: For its price this is a first-rate bit of kit. It feels substantial in the hand, and performs excellently. Because of the good magnification, image stability benefits from use of a tripod, and I found that a standard camera tripod does very well. It's probable that, if you want to spend 2 or 3 times as much you might get an even better telescope.
