Summary: Everything sounds great (critical) and even looks pretty fancy in my studio. Took a while to configure it to a program other than Cubase, but all good. ONLY problem in the whole package was that the rack mounting screws were the wrong size, but that's a cheap and easy fix.
Summary: Product came as advertised, and quickly. The insert cords, etc., are all of affordable quality. Do not expect expensive cables--but it is amazing that they are part of this deal at all. The unit is easy to use, and the interface settings are basic enough for pretty much anyone.
Summary: No latency, Easy setup, fast delivery, best priced on market. The cables are cheap and feeble, but hey, its almost like getting them for free! If you are looking to buy us-1800 or us-2000 purchase this! its only $50 more than the us-1800! Can't be anymore satisfied!
Excerpt: TASCAM US 2000 - great product and features, even better price. The TASCAM US 2000 is a USB 16 input 4 output analogue to digital converter. This audio interface takes up just a single rack space where others would fill at least 2. With a street price of about $400 USD it's pretty irresistible.
Excerpt: 16 entries on USB to get my battery and my bass on a UX32A Asus ultrabook with SSD 256GB Samsung 830 Pro, 6GB RAM, i5 and 64-bit Win7 with that USB 3.0 jacks and it works directly on the first try.
Excerpt: The TASCAM US 2000 is a pretty more souped up version of the popular US 1641 . The appeal of these Tascam interfaces hits the same spot with everyone every time. They offer so many channels for such a rock bottom price that you just cannot pass it up! Right?
