Summary: I used this product when converting an older PC system to Windows 7. The motherboard had on-board audio and there were no drivers available from Intel for Windows 7. Installed this card and everything worked as needed.
Summary: This card is a perfect low/mid level replacement for someone that just wants sound and to hear it okay. It's pretty cheap, so of course it's not going to be the most amazing, studio quality sound ever, but it does the job quite well. I bought it to put in a client's Dell Dimension and it was an easy install, just had to take the expansion plate off and screw on the longer, standard one. Literally took about a minute or two.

Summary: A $12 sound card. Really? Really! I bought this guy for a work computer and when my sound card and pulled it over late at night when my gaming computer's card died unexpectedly. I have to say I am really pleased! Got me back into the fight pdq! The sound is good (ok, it's not a 300 sound blaster card but it's still very clean). It comes with a low profile mount attached but ALSO includes a standard mount (kudos to you manufacturer!).
Summary: Easy to install. Works with windows 7 ultimate OS. Even came with software CD. Just removed old software in programs. Disabled onboard sound in bios. Then slid card into PCI slot. Ran software CD and viola was done. So easy a cave man could it.Many more adjustment options avail than what came with my DEll OptiPlex gx280 onboard sound.
Summary: I use thi sin my garage computer so the quality isn't too important but I use it for the occasional game and it sounds pretty good. If your in the market for a simple and basic sound card this will satisfy that need. I use it on a x64 windows 7 machine and got the latest drivers directly form their website instead of the disc. I haven't use a mic with it so I can't comment on that.
