  • Summary: Overall the performance of the sound card was top notch. The sharpness of the audio was superb and the quality of 3d environmental audio gave me a sense of truly being in games. For the price tag this sound really can’t be beat, the features alone make it worth the buy.

  • Conclusion: One of the very tricky things of doing a sound card review is the lack of hard data to show you. With a video card, I could show you screenshots and frame rates, but I have no way of showing you the crystal clear sound that comes from this card. Previously I had a Creative SoundBlaster Live!

  • Conclusion: The primary obstacle holding back M-Audio and its Revolution 7.1 is Creative’s installed base of users. The fact that the Creative brand is known worldwide doesn’t help either. Despite this, M-Audio really has a diamond in the rough.
