Excellent hardware.Did not like the software as it was useless for my needs

Summary: The Delta1010LT is an amazing piece of recording equipment. I am not a big fan of digital recording interface devices but I have become one overnight since purchasing the Delta 1010LT. I am using mine primarily to transfer old multi track 4 and 8 track analog tape recordings to digital format for remastering and editing. All of my older recordings are in analog format. So with this card they can be transferred to wav or mp3, which is great.
Summary: top notch interface great sound quality ease of use what more could you want? ok so its not lit up like a x-mas tree and full of other bling its the quality of the sound that makes this unit so great.period
Summary: This is an excellent interface for the amateur or professional engineer and/or musician. I have been in audio production for 15 years and this one is truly superb. I was using the E-Mu 1212m (v2) for the last few years, but even though the E-Mu has slightly better specs on the converters the quality that you are able to receive on the A/D and D/A conversion is not the same. This unit reproduces every nuance.
The M Audio Delta 1010 is a solid performer that will not let you down....

Summary: I purchased this product off of what I read and personal experience with one of the companies other products (Delta 66) which too was a nice piece. I was driven to this item when support for the interface I currently had was going to cost me additional monies...I like the fact that M-Audio has maintained support for this gear piece and it does sound really nice. More open even then the piece it has replaced (MOTU 2408) not to mention names.
Summary: I've used 2 rack mount Delta 1010's for several years with absolutely no problems running under XP. Do your home work. The real CROWNING feature of the delta's are the A/D converters. That's supported in countless professional reviews. I've used the Delta's alongside Agogee's Rosetta 800 and absolutely could not tell the difference. and yes I have very high end monitors (Adam) an other pro equipment. Delta 1010 are still a mainstay in many well know "LA" class studios.
Summary: I had another product from m audio called fire wire solo VERY PROBLEMATIC 0 Z E R O RELIABILITY bad drivers a lot of failures .Planning to buy delta 1010 with a lot of mistrust but it is the only one brand besides degidesign that works with pro tools BAD FOR ME/ As the first review person said STAY AWAY FROM M audio!!!! if possible.
Summary: I have had this card for nearly a decade. It's a very good card. The support has been good, although I agree they're a little slow in releasing Vista drivers. I have had a problem with a capacitor in the card going out --- twice now. Fortunately, I purchased the card back when they were providing a lifetime warranty, and both times they replaced it under warranty without problems.
Summary: I have had trouble with so many other sound cards for DAW recording, but this card has always been there for me. It is very clean and has never been difficult to set up through numerous computer upgrades. In fact, it is the only piece of equipment that I started with and still use. I plan to buy a second Delta 1010 for my system for more tracks. A very clean setup and very reliable.
