cykosinon, Ciao
26 January 2010
  • Summary: I've owned the GuitarPort for over 4 years now. In this review, I want to share my views of why you should own a guitar port even if you have a decent amp, nice effects and good microphones. 1.
  • Pros: unique product and a gem for ameteur guitarists, acts as a good external sound card, small
  • Cons: The tone emulation is not the best

Guitarport, be an easy bedroom rockstar

Chopeh, Ciao
6 February 2007
  • Summary: I've owned the Guitarport for way over a year now, and it still impresses me. Put simply, this is a digital multi-fx pedal that runs through your computer, and its possibilities are pretty much endless.
  • Pros: Price, PC Recording, Many Tones, Intuitive Software .
  • Cons: Can't use it on stage !  (Well, not easily)

Great Product

  • Summary: I have used this for a year now and prefer using this to my small practice amp. The sound quality is great, not as good as the real amps but good sound when used through a cd player or an amp. The range of sounds is excellent and has all the sounds that you could be needed by most people.
  • Pros: Great sound, great price and good for recording
  • Cons: subscription required for extra features

  • Summary: I bought my GuitarPort Rifftracker Package a little over six weeks ago and have given it a lot of heavy use since doing so. I feel that all round this is a superb product packed with excellent features at a great price but at the same time lacking some of the features that would make it a more long...
  • Pros: Great Price, Easy Use, Excellent Design, Super Sound !
  • Cons: No Manual, Limited Drums/Effects .

Line 6 Guitarport

GixerJas, Ciao
10 December 2003
  • Summary: Guitarport is basically an external sound card that connects via a USB port; you then plug your guitar into it using a standard 1/4" instrument lead. Installing the line6 Guitarport on to your PC is an absolute doddle with clear on-screen instructions that make it fool proof.
  • Pros: Fantastic sounds and a great learning resource
  • Cons: Subscription dependent
