For audiophiles, but mic needs boost.
30 January 2013
Summary: For audiophiles. Excellent for audio adjustments with software. However, there's no boost for mic. This means listening is a good expericence, but audio inputting is painfully weak, typical of most X-Fi sound cards. This rating is appropriate with 3 stars.
Summary: Creative didn't make the idiotic design decision to make the card incapable of having headphones and speakers connected at the same time. What do I mean by this? Well, if you have headphones connected to the dedicated headphone jack, the sound card kills the output to the RCA jacks rendering them useless unless you reach behind your PC and disconnect the headphones.
