Summary: I got this extra sound card for its flexibility..I can use its optical out to transfer music to my minidisc recorder/player or any other personal player without needing computer software. I can attach a microphone to it or even a tape deck or record player..even my mobile phone. I connected it to my home stereo for watching videos or listening to music.

Summary: Stylish and compact design. I bought it to use with my laptop and 5.1 speakers and the sound is great for this price. No problems with drivers for windows 7, but its installation was too long. Works perfect with all media players I use.
Summary: Bought this card skeptic of the beneficial properties of it, as I was coming off a soundblaster live card as it was. Upon installing this card on my windows xp 32 bit system, I had NO problems what so ever, and I was instantly amazed at the sound quality it produced; not to mention an FPS boost in video games.... Yes, it does boost your frame rate! STRONGLY suggest getting this card, superior sound.
