Summary: Very happy with this sound blaster Creative Labs the inventor of sound when computers when they first came out the Rolls-Royce of soundcards you using a laptop which from the factory pretty lousy sound card for using voice recognition so I just plug this little rascal in downloaded the software units one thing I wish they would a given me a CD driver disk but the web is accessible I have tried cheap soundcards before like seven dollars and again you get what you pay for...
Summary: Got this for my son who is a DJ and he says its excellent. I have always been a big fan of Creative products and this external sound card did not disappoint. Unfortunately it is small so my son lost it, but I can't blame Creative for that. I don't know all the technical stuff about this other than it is plug and play...my son has had no problem with the device being recognized.

Summary: I bought this product on the advice of my computer repair guy and it is fantastic! The sound quality when using my laptop through my old Sony receiver via the headphone jack on the laptop was minimal at best. The sound is fantastic using this device. I highly recommend it!

Summary: Bought this because my laptop's sound card an offset on the input jack (stereo not centred). This USB sound card works great, clean sound with many options in the driver software to customize output and input. A wide range of equalizer presets are available.
Summary: I like tiny USB things. X-Fi Go Pro has satisfy my needs. I have an old core 2 duo laptop. The internal onboard sound is terrible so using X-Fi Go Pro improve the sound quality. Now, I can enjoy cinematic sound while watching movies. I'm not facing any sound problem just like other previous poster. A little tips for me, is using WASAPI mode for your player to make all sound output from your computer exclusively for this device.
Summary: The sound card in my laptop went out. I bought this to replace the internal sound card. I have owned several different Creative products and found them to be of good quality. I would rather have a smaller card but the sound on this is very good.
