Summary: By Jordan Scott I now own two of these headsets and can confirm their quality. Pros: + 8 Hour Battery Life + Rich deep bass -- Better than any other headset I've ever heard (Due to 50mm speakers and li-ion battery not holding back) + Beautiful clean (not sharp or tingy) highs and a solid mid-range.
Summary: This card works perfectly, I have an old (Early 90's) receiver with Dolby 5.1 and digital inputs, this card sounds awesome. If the price seems a little high, just pony up a few more bucks and buy it!
Summary: By Frederic E Kemp III My Soundblaster Audigy did not make the transition from my old rig to my new one. After 8 years it was time to upgrade. I had read a ton of reviews trying to decide what card to go with. The one thing that tilted the balance was the front control panel, and I just so happened to have one empty slot left in my Cooler Master HAF 912. Install was easy on Windows 7 64-bit Pro.
Summary: By Joel I have built all my machines for the last 20 years. As I got older and more busy, I became more dependent on onboard audio/video. I grew tired of how high I was having to turn my receiver up to get LOUD. I figured the s/n ratio on my Asus mother board wasn't going to be the greatest. It did well for the last couple year but I sit here fully amazed at how this sound card sounds. The DL processing on this card, in my opinion is unbelievable.
Summary: A total piece of junk.The sound blaster company has known driver issues with this item but refuses to update the drivers because it has been out over 8 months.When I start my pc its a gamble on if the dolby digital light will come on ,on my reciever.Sometimes it does sometimes it don't I went nuts for 3 days with it and found hundreds of complaints about the same issue over the internet forum.Yanked it out and threw it directly in the garbage can , reinstalled my...
