Best way to get True 5.1 Surround Sound on Xbox with TB HPA2 Headset!

gmsayles, Ebay

  • Summary: Love this thing. Seriously one of the best purchases I've made for audio tech. Especially for the price. I use it with my Xbox and Turtle Beach HPA2 Headset. The HPA2 has 8 drivers, 4 in each ear, which provides True 5.1 surround sound. I was using an Astro Mixamp however it only allows HPA2 to use 2drivers, Left and right, insead of surround. Extigy is the best way to get true 5.1 surround sound on Xbox.

  • Excerpt: The Creative Labs Sound Blaster Extigy has some really good inputs and outputs to work with and the price of the Extigy is very affordable and has been affordable since the first day it came out about 10 years ago. With 7 outputs and 5 inputs you will have just enough to power your home set up.

  • Excerpt: I have this card for several years, she has never failed. I took a trip with my PC. At MIDI, I use a synth as a master keyboard or computer music and it works. Little more, the remote operates other applications such Explorer or DVD player.

  • Excerpt: What technical specifications motivated your choice? Have a laptop PC with a poor sound card home, the Extigy is the first external type that I encountered in the store.

  • Excerpt: CHARACTERISTICS The lists are all in doc crative, simply go to the site, here against what they do not say the card is not 24-bit, only the input es / O are the internal processing is 16 bits. You can not go out and on a headphone and the amplifier outputs at the same time as the headphone output inhibits the sound on the amp outputs.

DOLBY Surround sound, ALL DAY LONG...

docmedic, Ciao

  • Excerpt: Why did I get external sound card in the first place? My laptop’s internal soundcard was damaged and I had three options: to either replace the internal sound card which was half the price of my laptop (approximately £600), get a new laptop, or buy myself an external soundcard. The last option is relatively the cheapest, and I don’t have to go through the hassle of transferring data from my old computer to a new one, and by the way, at that time, my laptop was still new,...
  • Pros: Great surround sound, Pleasing design, Complementary to Creative Speakers, Easy to use, cheaper option to replacing internal soundcard of laptops plus the bonus of having surround sound, wide range of inputs other than PC .
  • Cons: Relatively bulky, expensive
