Umm no

Anonymous, Newegg

  • Summary: Examples are they use to sell a digital 5.1 system years ago for 60 bucks, now the only one with digital is 300 bucks LOL Remember the creative sound blaster live 16 bit? It was PERFECT and blew away any other soundcards even ones of today!
  • Pros: Cheap
  • Cons: I"m sorry but I don't like this product, it's extremely pathetic IMO. The problem is the software is clumsy and makes no sense the way it's setup. I know creative has gone downhill but seriously?!

  • Summary: I am an old retired systems engineer and I play World of Warcraft to relax and it is a game where I can get together with 2 of my sons. When trying to communicate on headsets my laptops sound card was being overloaded and would blur the sound and shut down.

Not what I expected

  • Summary: I still use it from time to time. My friend used it on His ps3 with a set of turtle beach head phones. It worked for that soooo can't give it one star and the fact I already had my doubts :-/
  • Pros: Solid Build. Worked with windows 7.
  • Cons: I bought this to run a stero jack from my computer to a Roland keyboard amp. I was having a hard time with EMI, Hard drive, and Video card Noise before I bought this. I plugged this in my usb slot, installed the drivers, and plugged in my amp. Everything I was trying to get rid of is still there....

Not cracled up to advertising

Seeking, TigerDirect.com

  • Summary: I chose this priecier sound card over one that was selling for a few bucks. Mistake? This one burps and cracles and certainly doesn't provide anything like high fidelity. Because I have no sound on my laptop (Inspiron 6000) speakers or earphone jack with this I get sound. Sound. Period.
