Summary: My old sound blaster was good for Win XP, but I had to upgrade for Win Se7en. I have two HDD in my PC one with XP the other Se7en. When I want to jam on the media player, and like it load. The x-tra software that comes with this sound card makes it possible.
Summary: I needed to record from my sound system to my Dell Latitude CS laptop, (a P II, 400mh, 512mb memory, without line level inputs). Having only a mono mike input, I needed a good way to get a line level input. I could not find exact machine requirements for the Audigy Sound Card so I took a chance. When received, I installed the drivers and the software supplied on the installitation disk, without a problem.
Summary: Inexpensive and waaaay better than the integrated sound on my motherboard. To install, simply put it in a PCI slot and go into your bios and turn off the on board sound. Throw away the driver disk that came with it and either go into device manager and try to automatically find and update drivers or download them directly from Creative.
Summary: Got it just yesterday and had a hard time installing it called tiger direct customer service and told them the card didn't fit he told me that it would fit. so I hung up and dicided to try again and it fit... you were right and thank you. and it sounds great. Great card for the money. I would recommend it to anyone who like great sound.
