Summary: Crashes the linux driver which is the reason I bought the card since it had ALSA linux driver support. Tried it with Debian, Ubuntu, and Linux Mint. Had an old one that I thought was just defective before buying this one, both didn't work with linux. Avoid this card if you want it to work in Linux.
Summary: I put this in my computer and it worked flawlessly, I had just recently fixed up an old computer that hasn't worked in years and as I recall the audio was decent but not great so I added this sound card and now the music sounds incredible!
Summary: I was apprehensive because I read some mixed reviews on this product, but I bought it anyway because I know I could work on a return if the card wasn't any good. In my case I have an aging desktop unit with a Intel MB that had a sound section dying. rather than junk the machine I bought this card. It installed easily and the card fired right up sounded fine.
Summary: My old sound blaster was good for Win XP, but I had to upgrade for Win Se7en. I have two HDD in my PC one with XP the other Se7en. When I want to jam on the media player, and like it load. The x-tra software that comes with this sound card makes it possible.
