Summary: Sadly, the only use for this cooker is to make a large batch of oatmeal. It does not reach a temperature hot enough to cook meat, vegetables, or quinoa. It is lightweight and dings easily. It also turns off at inopportune times. Poor design and not the old West Bend I remember.
Summary: My favorite brand of slow cooker!!! This is an investment, but one that is well worth the price. You will not be sorry...I replaced a 40 year old West Bend that was exactly the same type (without the programmable features) and only replaced it because it died.
Summary: Not happy with the Pot with this Slow Cooker. I had one from West Bend for years and it was great. This one is very disappointing as follows: 1. I took the sticker off(that came on the pot) the paint on the outside of the pot came with it.
