Summary: This Slow Cooker is really great. I love the "WARM" setting, which keeps your food at a heated temperature when your cooking time is done. You don't even need to worry about coming home on time--it's waiting for you, and it's warm. The top has a hole for a thermometer, which is useful if you are cooking a roast, but I personally don't use it. I love that the interior is ceramic; it cleans easily and cooks evenly. The best thing to make is Pot Roast.
Summary: I purchased this slow cooker 3 months ago and have used it about 3 or 4 times. It is an excellent slow cooker and my food always comes out tasting very delicious. It's very easy to use and is also easy to clean. I would like to note that it is a LARGE slow cooker, so keep that in mind if you are looking to conserve space in your kitchen. Ultimately, I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a quality slower cooker for your home.
Summary: I received this 5 quart Hamilton Beach Set N Forget Slow cooker (white) a week and a half ago and I am Very pleased with it's performance and it looks great on the counter! The first thing I made was a Pot roast with Vegetables overnight, and could smell that plastic-y, electric smell (that was described in another customer review) more than the roast as it cooked. But I haven't smelled that since then, and the roast was 'melt in your mouth' Delicious!
Summary: I read a lot of reviews before buying one of these for my wife for Christmas. She loves it! The probe is awesome for cooking full chickens and turkeys! We haven't had any problems with it shutting off in the middle of cooking like other reviews said either! I recommend it to anyone!
Summary: After looking all over at slow cookers I found the perfect cooker for a family of 2. This cooker is loaded with nice features like digital settings, locking top for security when carrying and a removable pot for easy cleaning plus you can store your leftovers in the refrigerator while still in the ceramic pot. The 5 quart size is just the right size for a small family (a 4 quart is too small and a 6 quart is too large).
Summary: Recently I have been having bad luck with our slow cookers and the high setting burning everything. I was apprehensive about purchasing another slow cooker until I found this Hamilton Beach Programmable Cooker. My daughter and I love it because of being able to program it for our needs. She especially likes the thermometer feature ensuring our foods are cooked to the appropriate temperature and then the cooker reverting to a warm setting. I love it.
Great size and shape. A functional little beauty of a crock pot.

Summary: I originally purchased the larger model. However, I was forced to return it as the unit quit working after about 30 minutes. Frustrated, I decided to try the 5-Quart model instead and I think I made the right decision. (I try to prepare 6 or 7 servings each night so we have leftovers for lunch.) The 5 quart capacity is much closer the the actual volume I need to produce.
Summary: This is a GREAT crock pot and functions as described by the manufacturer. It is programmable, within a half hour, on both low or high, or a manual setting for up to 14 hours, or a preprogrammed temperatuire setting using a temperature probe inserted into the contents of the crock pot. This crock pot does exactly what it claims. One interesting note is that the temperatures of this crock pot more closely simulates the older crock pots, which had lower temperatures.
Summary: I'm a bachelor and usually just looking for something that's cheap and does the job. So normally I wouldn't buy a crock pot like this. But I decided to take the plunge, spend a little extra because it had a temperature probe. It's a very nice slow cooker. You can't make gumbo in a slower cooker ...
