Summary: I've had my Hamilton Beach for well over five years and it is truly a champ! I love the removable liner as it makes clean up SO much easier! This unit has the basic settings, Off, Keep Warm, Low, and High with a simple dial that works fine for me.
Summary: This is the best slow cooker I have owned over the past 35 years. Even cooking, love the gasket around the lid! The low heat level is not too high, (many current models are); so cooking for 10 hours isn't a problem. First oval shape one I have had, and I like it much more. Easy to clean.
The lid rocks slight - doesn't fit snugly - so I use the accompanying band to hold it in place better. Having said that

Summary: Doesn't have the bells and whistles, but can't beat the price. The lid rocks slight - doesn't fit snugly - so I use the accompanying band to hold it in place better. Having said that, it works just fine.
Summary: Very reasonable price for size. Warm, low an hi knob means less to break down. We're using it at cottage where we stay at least 5 months. Great for summer cooking when you can't use grill (rain) and stove would heat up cottage. I'll try to remember to report back toward end of summer.
Summary: This unit has more than met my expectations of it. The oval shape is a space saver on the kitchen counter, and it nicely fits a good sized roast, ham, chicken or stewing fowl. I have gotten my money back just in the rich soup stock alone that I have been able to make on a slow overnight simmer.
