Summary: Pretty much love everything about this slow cooker. I read that because of FDA guidelines, the low setting on most slow cookers is about 200 degrees, which is much higher than it used to be (not sure when this happened) Anywho, I purchase a side of organic grass fed beef every year, and grass fed beef does not like being cooked at high temps.
Summary: I bought this for my daughter who gets home late and is starving. She loves it because she can put something in the cooker in the morning and eat right away when she gets home. The capacity is great. She hasn't used all of the features, but everything works as advertised.
Excerpt: This has been one of the best purchases my husband I have bought so far. With both of us working full time jobs in the city, the last thing we want to do is come home to spend time gathering ingredients for a meal then sitting over it to make sure nothing burns. With this slow cooker we are able to throw meals or any size into the pot and not have to worry.
Summary: I bought this for Christmas for my son and ourselves. We love it. Our slow cook dishes are so much better now that they are not over cooked because we were not home in time. We work long hours and this is just perfect for us.
Summary: Used several times since we bought this unit, less than a month ago. Several features like the digital timer works excellent where you can set it up to turn on and cook 24 hours in advance and then goes automatically into keep warm mode so when returning home from work or where ever your ready to eat a well made meal.
Summary: I have used it twice so far. I made a chuck roast that was just falling apart tender, then made an 8lb ham with coke/brown sugar. Both were fantastic. My kids loved them, and I got some great leftovers. Part of the reason I got this slow cooker was to make a larger amount of food that I could take to school for lunch and save some money. I really like the simmer option, too. UPDATE: I just made 2 racks of ribs I had bought at Costco.
