Summary: We have't seriously tested this out in freezing conditions yet, but have no complaints so far. My newest Scout has used it camping and been sufficiently warm and comfortable. With a tight budget this is a super value from Amazon. Great starter sleeping bag for kids or small adults. Time will tell if it works for lower temperatures as well as it has for the mild weather.
Summary: Given the minimal cost of this sleeping bag, I'd describe it as amazing. I've been using it everyday for the past 7 months to sleep in while in missionary school. So far this bag has survived winter in Northern Italy, Spain, and France. I've used it in severe cold, and while my classmates were freezing, I stayed nice and toasty in this bag. The material it's made of isn't super durable, so be careful when washing and drying if you want to avoid tears.
Summary: Bought 2 of these bags. Very warm, was sweating in the bag wearing t-shirt and shorts when outside temps dropped to 20's. Ive used the bags for 2 seasons and they have taken abuse by friends using them to crash on the couch when they stayed for a few too many. A seam finally split on one the other is still rockin it. Ill prob just sew the seam back together and continue to use it. The compression bags they came with are great, but dont store them in it.
Summary: What an amazing sleeping bag. You simply cannot beat this bag for the price of it. It has served me magnificently several times I've been out and kept me warm and toasty on some cold nights. I think I spent 30 bucks on this bad boy, you can't find anything even close to the level of warmth at any outfitter or even walmart, you will find crap there for a similar pricepoint, Amazon is awesome!
Summary: This is the best sleeping bag I've ever slept in. It's durable and light and and keeps me warm when I go camping even when it's freezing cold. And have you ever, ever been camping with a bad bag on a chilly night? Not good, really not good, but this bag is good, it's great, snuggly and comfy and it'll keep you warm as toast.
Summary: I bought this sleeping bag to go on a cub scout freeze out. I was very happy with the bag because it is a very warm, seemingly durable product. I didnt get to try it out in zero degree weather but I was warm enough that I had to leave it unzipped so I didnt sweat to death in 40 degree weather. The one thing I found alittle difficult was how to get it back in the little storage bag it comes with.
Summary: I've owned this bag for a few years now and although i'm happy with it in the spring and summer, this is by no means a fall/winter bag. I've been stuck very cold in 30 degree temps and was not a happy camper. I even bought a liner for it and gave it another try and in 24 degree temps, froze my you know what off. Don't even think about this bag for cold weather use!

Summary: It's light, highly compressible and a very reasonably priced bag. It performed relatively well down to - 0.5 C (around 30 F), but if the temp gets lower, it's highly unlikely that it will keep its inhabitant cozy. It features a contoured drawstring hood, a 3-inch, full-length draft tube, and a 5-inch internal shoulder collar to help keep the cold out. Other features include a self-repairing zipper and an oxford nylon stuff sack.
Summary: I purchased this sleeping bag as a Christmas gift for my 6 year old son, but I have used it as well. It is a very warm and comfortable sleeping bag. The only draw back is the zipper. It does not unzip all the way around the foot of the bag, but it does completely unzip so that the two zipper parts separate. This makes it very difficult to use, especially in the woods at night, which is when you usually use it!
Summary: spent the night in a hammock when the temperature was as low as 31'. kept me very warm. keep in mind though, that you have to dress for the ocation. still have to dress for cold weather. the best part of this sleeping bag is the hood. zip this sucker up all the way and put the hood on and you'll be plenty warm all night. might want to get a ski mask for your face though if the weather is cold.
