Summary: As someone who is 6'6" i was really taken by the dimensions of the "long" version, with ample room in the foot box for size 14's. i have used this bag in a semi flooded tent and mopped rain off the top but i seams to keep its down dry????
Pros: the "long" size is impressive with room for size 14 feet sitting cross legged in you bag makes life easier outer shell is v-water resistant stuffs down to a good size and WILL go smaller fleese lines stuff sack makes great pillow.
Cons: the lining never feels warm on the skin! no neck collar
Summary: Bought this after much research as a compromise between weight, warmth and price. Really pleased with the comfort and warmth. Have used down to freezing and stayed warm. On hotter nights the dual zips make venting easy.
Pros: Great warmth to weight Packs small Stretchy stitching moves with you
Summary: Very pleased with this purchase. Got it on offer for £80 in spring 2006. I use it with a silk liner and it's very comfortable. I am a bit of a cold sleeper and this keeps me warm down to the 0 degrees it's rated for.
Pros: Light, cosy, comfy. Lets me stretch my legs a bit.
Cons: Fill a bit thin on the bottom. Would benefit from a tightening-up-around-your-neck thingie.
Summary: After a completly crap day in the lakes where I saw my fly sheet off my tent fly off a mountain side when we did retrive it and set up camp in a campsite that night (with fly sheet on after one of us ran down the mountain to get it) all I did was put out my thermorest and get in my bag and...
Pros: Very well thought out bag, Very confortable and sung warm.
Summary: We are very happy with this purchase--should work well for Spring, Summer, and Autumn mountain camping in the British Isles.
Pros: Keeps you very warm while weighing less than 1 kg and packs down very small. While I started to shiver recently up a mountain in an old synthetic bag, my wife was nice and toasty in the Dreamcatcher 300. Also a very comfortable bag.
Cons: You could get lighter, but you would need to pay substantially more for the same amount of warmth.
Summary: This is an excellent bag with low weight and small pack size, and warmer than the 0 degrees rating that ME give it. It's very comfortable due to the elastic at the knee area. This is definitely a bag to consider if you feel constricted by a normal bag.
Pros: Warm for the weight Good pack size Comfortable
Summary: Bought this bag a few years ago and never looked back. Like most ME bags it can be used a lot colder than the label says. Ideal bag for Scottish summer where you can get a warm muggy night or a sharp frost.
Pros: Very warm for the weight Pack Size The TDS works!!
