Summary: I'm writing this review based on my interaction with my wife who is the primary user of the bag. The bag works well, but only down to about 30 degrees F and not the 24 degrees that the manufacturer claims.
Summary: I've been camping for over 50 years and this is the first 15 degree bag that didn't keep me comfortable down into the 30s. It would function okay in temperatures above 45 degrees, but anything lower and I would freeze. I returned this bag to REI.
Summary: Needed to upgrade my sleeping bag for a September backpacking trip through Colorado's Maroon Bells Wilderness. This bag was a great compromise between packability, weight, insulation, and price.
Summary: Love this bag. I carried it on the AT for a month in October of 2015. I got the extra long extra wide one and its big. I'm 6'2. 250. Roominess: Width: as far as room to move its very solid, can bend my knees in there a little and reach my arms down or whatever. Length: TONS of room.
Summary: I stayed warm overnight in 25-30 F degree weather, so no complaints there. I liked that it zipped on both sides. I wish it was a little bit more compact--it took up a lot of space in my pack, but I bought it anyway so clearly that was not a deal breaker.
Summary: I love this form factor as I am 6'2" 150# and its wonderful to sleep in this bag. Dual zippers, fluffy feel like down, no worries about water or rain as it synthetic. EN rating on this is totally off. First I sleep hot! I can be fine in my spring bag below freezing temps as be OK.
