Summary: I had been eyeing the Kelty XP 40 for over a year now, ever since I bought the Kelty XP 0. I was so happy with that bag that I figured I’d stay with same bag but a warmer temperature range. My criteria for selecting this bag were simple: It had to be comfortable sleeping in summer temperature. A Mummy bag with space to move around. Low end of 40 degrees F. A good manufacture with good warranty. Great bang for the dollar.
Summary: You can't beat this bag for the price and build quality. This bag keeps you warm to about the recomended temp, and the long length should be good for anyone up to 6'5". I am 6'3" and have room left - I own other bags that claim to be long that I feel much tighter in. As this is a synthetic bag, do not expect to get stuffed down to the size of a nalgene. I would recomend this to anyone wanting a good bag for a cheap price.
