"Uber warm & super plush"

William, MooseJaw
28 January 2014
  • Summary: This bag is uber warm and super comfortable. My Storm King combined with a Q-Core SL and Sleeping Giant pad kept me warm and comfortable for five days deer hunting in WI, near the south shore of Lake Superior. To give you a better idea of what this means, nighttime temperatures were in the single digits without wind and below zero with it.

"Great bag - great concept"

David, MooseJaw
28 January 2014
  • Summary: Did some research on winter bags and came across the Big Agnes concept of integrated sleeping bags and pads. Matched this bag with the Big Agnes Two Track pad. Very satisfied - just got back from camping with this setup over a weekend with night-time temps ~10 F and one night of howling winds. I was nice and toasty with just a winter cap, wool socks, long underwear, fleece pants, and a light sweatshirt.

"Are you a mummy? Then choose a bag that fits the living."

Colin, MooseJaw
4 April 2013
  • Summary: I am not a mummy; This bag insulates well like King Tut’s bag and allows for movement of the body like your old Coleman rectangle bag. Before this bag, I used a Long and Wide size mat because I thought I needed a big mat; what I really needed was to simply stay on my mat. The Storm King’s incorporated mat allows me to stay on my mat throughout the night.

"Great bag, very comfortable!"

Juanita, MooseJaw
20 November 2010
  • Summary: This bag is great! Its like sleeping on your favorite sofa! i suggest using the Duo-core sleeping pad with the sleeping giant memory foam pad, This bag is very warm in the cold, but when you are not in the extreme cold, it is very breathable. I used it in 60 degrees, and did not sweat all night! It also has a very easy to use zipper, that you can pull from the outside or the inside.

Bought this for the wife but I still sneak out from…

Wintercamper71 (guest), Trailspace.com

  • Excerpt: Bought this for the wife but I still sneak out from time to time and give it a spin on my own. I've used this bag about three times. Temperature rating is pretty close I think. I've had it -10 but I was cold. In the bags defense the temp was below its rated temp that night and I was using a 3-season Big Agnes mat on the bottom. Very comfortable. The design is a good one. You just slide your mat into the sleeve on the bottom and you can never roll off.
