Summary: Don't buy. Spent a bit more money for something better.
Cons: Started jamming hard after maybe 20 papers. Completely jammed 2-3 times within a day. Gave up on this thing and threw it away. Doesn't do well with more then 2-3 papers at a time.. even that it jams like crazy. And when its not jammed, tiny pieces of paper get stuck in the blades and set the sens...
Summary: It is smaller than what I expected and has to be emptied more frequently than the Office Depot one I had before. It will shred a credit card, but with great effort. Don't put more than 3 sheets in at a time or it will jam.
Excerpt: I originally was looking for a shredder to place over the top of a trashcan that I already have, to replace the one that is broken. This was difficult to find so I chose this one, primarily on price.
Excerpt: I work in the accounting office that runs several companies along with our sales teams, we had discovered a while back that we needed a shredder to destroy the personal information of our clients, credit cards numbers and such.
Excerpt: tnis is a fine product if you want to shred 2 or 3 pages a dat\y. if ouy need to do serious shredding, like 20 or 3- pages, the 2 minute max runtime will be a hinderence. i would not try to shred 6 sheets a a time. this is for light work only.
Summary: It struggles sometimes with cards and thicker documents, but overall this shredder does exactly what I bought it to do. I only needed it for sporadic home use - about once a month - so I didn't want to shell out too much cash on a shredder. This one was a good balance of price and functionality.
